Class evaluation

1. What i liked about this class was that we got to learn new technology apps on the computer and we also found out how to work on them.
2. What i didn't like about the class was the typing tutor.
3. Should have more outgoing or sharing activities.
4. A highlight for me in class was when we learned when people could look like the nicest person ever but have the nastiest past ever.
5. Yes i did sometimes i wasn't really feeling in the typing mood or whatever but i still did what i was told.
6. No honestly, i don't think it's a waste of time or anything but my goals aren't many there just to pass school, go to college , and become a pro skater.
7. Yes and no because everyone has mistakes not everyone is perfect.
8. That you should do what when told so you'll be free later.
9. I will remember Mr. Haymore saying “always choose the right, you're dismissed!”

“You will go far with CTR” Mr Haymore

This quote is saying that if you have good character and you always do what’s right then you will  be on the pathway to success. CTR has taught us that the only way to be successful and live a great life is to be a good person. If someone convinces you to be a bad person and CTW, you must remember CTR and stand up for yourself. You need to get rid of all the bad people in your life and find people that like to choose the right. You need to influence people to choose the right, so many people will be influenced and choosing the right would be popular instead of choosing the wrong. If you wanna live a great life you must always ctr 24/7 because it’s impossible to do wrong and feel good about it. CTR is being kind, having good character, and being respectful. That’s all you need in life to be successful. You don’t need materials to be happy. You just need to be kind. Karma will come back to you in the best way possible. Do the right thing and good will come to you.  Mr. Haymore has taught us a lot about ctr and how great it is to be a ctr person. Be respectful and kind to others and others will treat you the same way. You may not always meet people that are ctr, but that's why you have to teach them. And pretty soon everyone will learn to  choose the right.

The ultimate choice will always be vital to you having a great life. Always being a CTR person won’t make you think about making a decision anymore because you will know to always make the right one. You always wanna be a CTR person. Not only when it’s convenient to you. Being dedicated to choosing the right means it has to occur 24/7. Being a CTR person is the greatest decision to make in your life because it shows how great of a person you are. Everyone can learn from choosing the right and once they do they’ll be a whole other better person. CTR will always lead you into the right path no matter what happens. It will help you achieve anything you ever wanted in life. Choosing the right and having good character will lead you into success and help you bat all the obstacle in your pathway. Always choose the right no matter what.

Challenges Teens Face Today

1. Major challenges are school, relationships, and fitting in.
2. Honestly only school, i just can't keep up with all my grades, i always need something to remind me of the task i have to do.
3. Because you'll know how to keep up with all grades through both of the semesters. And it also helps you to get along with teachers.
4. You could start by trying to keep up with classes and if you don't do it ask if there's something else to make up for it.

6. Help because teens don't like asking for help. They tend to think “oh they're gonna call me stupid or think i'm stupid. They think super negative when they can't achieve and also give up easily

cheating or winning : The stories showed 2 types of examples. The good example was Malik Stewart. Malik was competing for a wrestling championship with Mitch Mckee but unfortunately lost. After the match he went up to Mitch’s father and shook his hand. This shows that he failed with honor because he congratulated his father instead of being angry. The bad example was Roman Chapa. He was a race jockey that won by cheating. What he did was use a shocking device to speed up his horse to win a race. This was a horrible thing to do because he hurt the horse and cheated just to win money. These are good example of choosing the right and choosing the wrong because it shows very strong examples. It's always better to lose honorably because you’re still a winner. Cheating doesn’t give you anything except a bad life

ADHD

CDC noted that 11% of school aged children are being diagnosed with ADHD.

ADHD is a disorder where the kids behavior is affected.  Three main symptoms define ADHD including inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. The symptoms are highly able to affect the child in social situations and school.  To notice the symptoms inattention that is associated to ADHD the child may have trouble paying attention to the task of hand, whether related to schoolwork or play. The other symptom associated with ADHD is hyperactivity this means that they will squirm or not stay still in their seat.

3. What are some ways to show honor and respect on memorial day? Make a soldiers day by sending a “thank you” card, you could show honor and respect by visiting a local veterans cemetery or a war memorial.

 

        5. The way they died fighting fascinates me i also wanna know what their duties where or what position where they in like what role did they play. (marine, army, head chief, etc)

      6. I could write something really creative to those people that died fighting for us and also maybe have a meal and talk about the great things they fought for.

Eight great reasons to tell the truth

This quote means that you shouldn't lie because it always comes back to you. Like an example could be you sneak out of your house to go to a party, you accidentally fall asleep at your friend's party, and it's 7 in the morning you realized your mom knew about the party plus she always says “good morning” when she wakes up so you run home as fast as your little legs can take you. You finally get home and you open the door first you see no one and then you go to the stairs and you mom suddenly pops up. She says “where have you been?” the girl thinks “what if i tell her i went to study?” or “what if i just tell her the truth?” the girl ends up with the lie and her mom then says “who did you study with?” you reply “umm jenna” your mom says “what subject?” you say “biology” your mom says “fine, okay” she calls jenna's mom to see if it's true and jenna's mom tells the girls mom everything that happened and that whole big lie could've been avoided if she would've said the truth.  

Yoga therapist

Duties & responsibilities: Yoga aims to create balance in the mind and body through exercise, breathing and meditation.

Salary:  $36,900 median average wage to $66,530 in the top 10 percent of the salary range per the BLS.

Education: you have to earn a degree related to health.

“If I’ve got correct goals, and if i keep pursuing them the best i know how, everything else falls into line. If i do the right thing right, i'm going to succeed.”

This quote means that as a  matter affect if you try your very best and always do what is right your future will be filled with positive things. You have to be doing good in order to get good things in life. Sometimes it's hard to always get something good but that maybe because you weren't doing a good thing. Even if you did bad back then you should pursue and do good the next try. Always do something good for everyone if you do good things positive things happen in your life. Let's say someone is telling you to do something and you say no the first time but then you see them asking someone else and they pay the other person so then you regret saying no and you try asking them oh i'll do something for you but now they say no because they know you only have interest.

Wellness Specialist

Duties & responsibilities: Wellness specialists work for schools, local governments, companies or other organizations to suggest, support and train people on their health and fitness goals.

Salary:  a natural USA wellness specialist receives $49,480 and  lifetime wellness specialist that works hourly receives  $15.77/hr

Education:  Bachelor's Degree

“The most important thing you will ever have is good values”

Having good values could get you far into life, how because you are able to be good and kind to everyone and anything. It's like always being careful having everyone know you're the good person out there. When you do  something bad then it becomes a negative consequence you'll have to face, and you won't face it with friends because friends don't exist. Friends are the reason most kids out there don't respect or don't do what their future is suppose to be because of friends you wait for them till they succeed and if they drop you drop with them to because i mean “that's what friends are for”. Always respect people because karma comes back and bites you as hard as it can so you’ll end up doing it again and again and again.

Veterinarian

Duties and responsibilities:  Veterinarians duties depend on the areas in which they work. Many treat small companion animals. As a small animal vet, you may perform services such as spaying and neutering, setting broken bones, treating wounds and providing geriatric care for older pets.

Salary: 84,460

Education: Doctoral or professional degree

reflection: i wouldn't like to be one because they have big exotic animals, you simply don't just work with "dogs" or "cats" you work with every type of animal.

This quote means when you do good god things happen. You could always learn how to appreciate like that guy Patrick he helped a person get his iPad and the amount of money in there and he gave it to the authorities with no hassle. He could've taken it but he chose something better for himself and other. He then got money from the man who owned the iPad which was like what 60 bucks which was really nice of him but c’mon he had more money in his iPad and he hands him 60 who does that. This just shows no matter what you find or what happens you should always think on how’d you’d feel.

This quote means that whether or not you choose the bad you should always do thing the right way never the wrong because the wrong has cause and effect on all types of people. Sometimes when you do something negative it won't help you because it was something that hurt a person or something that affected them in a very unpleasant way. An example could be jesse decides to cut class but he has bad grades so he thinks it through and says  i won't cut class because i need my grades higher than a “D”. some people think it's easy for anyone to just do something bad or illegal, they think it through and when they've made the wrong decision they regret it.

“Nothing is ever gained in doing what's wrong”

This quote means that There is no benefit from doing what’s wrong. You don’t gain anything from it. For example, you go to a party and there are alcoholic drinks. You drink there and get really drunk. What happens well the consequences may vary negative things could be possible to happen to you. You sometimes don't even feel happy with what you're doing so the bad takes over advantage so you always have to chose what's good instead of bad.

“It's A GREAT MOMENT when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time”

This quote means when you are dedicated in doing something good with good character do it during the right time. Always know when to say something nice and if you have nothing to say that's nice simply don't say anything. Sometimes there's a cause and effect for the things you say there could be a positive cause or a negative cause, always depend on your character to help you out. Always a great moment when you realize you helped someone out. Sometimes it could get to the point where you're not being a good person but when you do things you always have to have character.

Recreation therapist

Duties & responsibilities:  is a treatment service designed to restore, remediate and rehabilitate a person’s level of functioning and independence in life activities, to promote health and wellness as well as reduce or eliminate the activity limitations and restrictions to participation in life situations caused by an illness or disabling condition. Recreational therapy may also be simply referred to as recreation therapy.

Salary:  $28,688-$50,274

Education: bachelor’s degree in recreational therapy, leisure studies or a related field, although the educational requirements may vary by employer.

Reflection: I wouldn’t want to be this because with these type of people you need to have patience and not everyone has patience on one another.

Mental health counselor

Duties and responsibilities: mental health counselors will be one of the first resources available to people in need of emotional and psychological support.

Salary: 41,500

Education: Earn a bachelor’s degree in counseling, earn a master’s degree in counseling, earn a doctorate in counseling.

 

X-ray technician

Duties and responsibilities:use cutting-edge imaging methods to visualize the inside of the human body. The pictures they create help physicians to diagnose and treat illnesses or injuries with great accuracy.

Salary: $55,870

Education:Only 1 or sometimes 2 of academic training, usually in a certificate program, is typically needed to become an X-Ray Tech.
